GLScene is..
OpenGL based 3D library for Delphi. It provides visual components and objects allowing description and rendering of 3D scenes in an easy, no-hassle, yet powerful manner.

Lasarus is...
a cross-platform Visual Develpment Environement ( and feels & looks like Delphi! ) This is for programming language called Pascal and Object Pascal. It is dependant on the Free Pascal compiler,and extends it's capabilities .

You should need:
fpc 2.2.2

Do not activate at same time with other lasarus IDE module.

Only glscenelazarus package is fully instaled (but thats all it takes ,really...)

in some Demos change name of unit/s in uses declaration
GLLCLViewer - to GLViewer

in folder
~/lasarus/gl-slax/slax-gl are this files
gl.h
glext.h
glx.h
glxext.h
in case of nvidia driver try copy them in /usr/include/GL
(they are originals from slax ,bad nevidia just overwrites its own :) )
or seek them in slax's folders before activate driver (this headers are for 611)
or dont change it ...

The Demos , it can not load .jpg or .png for some odd reason..
(change to BMP in program ,please tell if you know whats wrong )

Demos are in :
~/lazarus/components/glscene/Demos

important! slax may freeze with openGL apllications if not supported 3d by hardware.
this issue occurs in slax 6.0.8 and greater.
