SSL support
This website now supports SSL, so you can use https:// in the URL instead of http to browser it more securely. What it means basically is that when you switch to https, the entire connection to Slax server is encrypted and nobody in the middle could possibly sniff what you're sending or receiving. It's not a big deal, indeed, but some people prefer it this way, and since I'm going to provide SSL for buildscript functins, it's already there so you can use it for regular surfing. Enjoy secure browsing! :)

Regarding security - I was thinking about encryption of the home directory. Major distributions offer this options during installation. And because Slax is primarily live distro on some flash drive, which could be lost and misused by somebody (saved passwords in web browser, private documents in home folder, etc.), it would by nice to have the home directory encrypted. I don't know much about this topic, so what's your opinion? Would it be easy to implement?

Hey Tomas,Porteus Linux (Slax based distro),haves the porteus installer. This installer runs in porteus and install it in other usb drive without the .iso or zip.Can you try to do this?
If can,the Slax users can redistribute it to friends :)

Checksums can be found under following Link:
