Do you need any kernel driver in Slax?
It happens quite often to me that people mail me to include this and that particular kernel module in Slax. I usually do nothing about such requests. Why? Slax is using Slackware's kernel configuration, which is believed to be sufficient. Since it is easier for me to simply copy Slackware's config, I don't like to maintain own set of enabled or disabled settings for Slax.
If you wish to include any kernel driver in Slax which is not enabled by default, I always suggest you the following: contact Patrick (Slackware's author) and explain to him why is your desired configuration helpful and what advantages does it provide. If your suggestion is accepted to Slackware, it will appear in Slax as well, usually very soon.
